Ozark Mountains DAR to Supply Veteran Food Pantries Through 2020
September 3, 2019
In March of this year Home For Dinner decided to make it our mission to stock the Veteran food pantries located at Northwest Arkansas Community College and Northwest Technical Institute. There is such an overwhelming need among many of our local student Veterans, and HFD wanted to ensure these exclusive pantries remained stocked with nutritious snacks and shelf-stable food items during the months when school is in session. We have been able to do that through the wonderful financial support of our partner companies and individual sponsors.
We are thrilled to announce that on August 22nd, the Executive Board of the Ozark Mountains Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution voted unanimously to partner with Home For Dinner and supply both the NWACC and NTI Veteran food pantries each month for the 2019-2020 year. This is such amazing news for our student Vets, and we here at Home For Dinner are so thankful for their support!!
If you know any of these wonderful ladies, please thank them for their support of our local Veterans!
